…At Hand is an observance and tribute to one’s hands. All too often senses and parts of our bodies are taken for granted & overlooked, simply because they exist. Not everyone is privileged to have all their senses and all parts of their body. Hands I feel are one of those parts that have so much to say but cannot “speak.” Frequently we use them without thought, a thankless tool. They have untold & unspoken stories. Through this project my goal was to create images showcasing people’s hands with something they are proud of, enjoy/love doing, or merely exploring.
